Nikki Haley won her first state on Tuesday — and her second primary overall — narrowly beating Donald Trump in Vermont.
The former U.N. ambassador won the primary in Washington, D.C., over the weekend but had otherwise been swept in all the state primaries and caucuses. In Vermont, however, she enjoyed the support of moderate Republican governor Phil Scott, who campaigned with her during a brief stop in Burlington on Sunday.
